So TKD expose 2006 ended on 27 May 2006 9:00pm. SRJC tkd club won 2 Gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze and became overall third for the competetion.We made good alliances with Tjc tkd club.There were laughter and there were tears.But no matter we lose or win, we rejoice for we have done our best and have no regrets.
This is the account of the TKD expose 2006
In the morning, i woke up, bathed, brushed my teeth and all and set out for Yio Chu Kang sports hall.The sports hall is like a roundish mosque.I had a hard time finding the entrance.Once inside, i put down my stuff and did some warm up with the rest.After that, we practised our coming in and going out of the arena.
11am, competetion starts. 1st was individual poomsae(pattern).2 white belts (larry and loong waye) made it to the semifinals b4 being eliminated.yellow belt 4 girls made it to the semis but did not make it to the finals.green belt only daniel made it to finals.Brown belt category, tommy,yi kang,and me were insults as we were eliminated in the 1st round.and there's this mushroom head who cant even rmb his poomsae got in.anyway, for brown belt, kenny made it all the way to the finals.as for black, gang rui made it to the finals.
then, there group poomsae, the white belts team 1 made it to semi but still didnt go to finals.white blet team 2 didnt got into the semi.yellow belt team 1 made it all the way to the finals. brown belt category was the funniest.there are four medals but only 5 teams, so we walked over the the finals.black team didnt make it to the finals.
unarmed combat, we were totally owned.many schs used our last yr's move.mjc was freaking good.their unarmed looked very realistic and there's flow and such.
i was very sad for my freestyle destruction.i only broke 2 out of 6 boards.20pts gone.the boards are much thicker this time.even my most confident kick failed to smash the board.T.T. i was totally stunned.....blehz.at least it was better than some of the schs.their kicker kept falling hard on the ground or the kick landed on their frend's head instead.
i was glad that Huili came to support me for the competetion.although she didnt stay very long cos she needed to buy food for her family, im glad that at least some one came to suport me. =D the waiting for each category to finish was very long.initially we cheered and cheered but half way, we were doing our own things like reading comics,do hw and perform magic.i managed to perform my new effect.totally owned them.XD
the prize presentation was most exciting.we were so thrilled we we heard the results.yellow team 1 gold,brown belt individual(kenneth) silver, green belt individual(daniel) bronze, brown belt team 1 gold,girls freestyle destruction bronze.this make us the overall third. hcjc was 2nd and tjc was 1st.TJC did an overkill.They won alot alot more than the 2nd and 3rd.nonetheless, we are satisfied for we got back our 3rd placing.last yr we were last, didnt win anything at all.this yr, jurong jc fell into our state last yr.they only got one bronze this yr.i still rmbed wad tommy said b4 the competetion "this time, we would work hard.last time we fell into the shit hole, but this yr we are gonna make some other sch to replace our place in the shit hole!" lol!!!
after competetion, we went to eat dessert and get drinks at ang moh kio.i was wearing my gold medal all the way.lol!!damn funny.and with this competetion, the j2's officially stepped down.now, it's time for us to concentrate on our studies and head for the A lvls.
