hi ppl, guess wad? i just got an interview for teaching!! ohh myy goodness gracious!! so excited, this is my 1st ever offical interview by an organisation!

while thinking through the qns that they are going to ask, many questions about life popped into my mind. what do i want to do as a teacher? it is easy to give a cliche ans such as "so that i can educate and touch the lives of young ppl" but if we further look into the ans, what usually comes to mind is how?

the purpose of education is to develop individuals who are morally upright, excellent academically and able to face future challenges for the continuous building of a nation. in other words,to make super humans who will drive the economy of the country.as teachers, we are to develop these kind of people.

the world gives us alot of suggestions on how we can life our life fruitfully and successfully. many teachers will often give u stuff like to take life positively and learn to let go during set backs. but if i were a teacher i would give a very different answer.

telling some1 to take life positively is a joke. for the past 12yrs of your miserable life, you have been fighting in a cruel battle for a place in a higher learning institute(6yrs PSLE for better sec schs,4yrs sec sch for JCs, 2yrs for a rare place in U) , with it comes tons of stress and all of ur emotinal needs are secondary. and after all that, u spent the rest of your pitiful life working till u retire and die. to tell them take life positively is like telling a prisioner "at least u have the rats to accompany u". this is sad. i too am a part of this vicious cycle. but wad really drives me is that i have hope. not hope that one day i will strike the lottery become flithy rich, just enjoy my life in luxury. but hope that one day all this will come to an end. it may not be in my generation but it's a hope that one day the world will become a better place.i know it will be cos my hope is based on some one who builds the galaxies and the stars.

there are a million suggestions the world offer to dealing life's problems but all these suggestions in the end are pointing o nowhere. things like learning to let go, cos if u dun let go, new things/experiences dont come. the correct response shld be, we come to this earth naked, and naked we shall go. do not waste your life on earhtly stuff that are easily destroyed. instead invest your life into something meaningful and helpful to others.

as we continue our journey of life, let us not be hindered and misleaded by worldy solutions. let us open our eyes, and see the real truth that is out there, waiting for us. all we have to do is to reach out our hands and seek it.
